As a Certified Gentle Sleep Consultant and Positive Parenting Coach, I offer one-on-one virtual sessions where I provide accountability, consistency, new ideas, and behavioral fading techniques. I understand how frustrating it can be to need help but have no idea where to turn. That's why my mission is to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and resources to identify the root cause of the problem, understand how to address it and develop a personalized and effective plan.

I work with parents of exclusively breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and formula-feeding babies, using a gradual modification of sleep habits that helps them stay connected to their caregivers. This approach takes a bit more time, but it's crucial for growth and brain development. By the end of our two-week contract, you'll have a better understanding of your child's needs and cues, and they'll be sleeping, playing, eating, and behaving more like themselves, fully rested and ready to learn.

I generally prefer to start formal coaching at 5-6 months old and work with children up to 5 years old. If you have a newborn (0-4 months), I offer Holistic Newborn Sleep Shaping, which you can learn more about in a 45-minute consultation call with me. What is Holistic Gentle Sleep Coaching ?

I like to see the whole picture which is what makes it holistic. I look at sleep hygiene, routine, sleep schedules, parents mental health, age and development, play-time, and of course, bad habits. I work with you to help you show them that this new way of sleeping is safe and you are still right there. I help you find ways to boost connection which helps with all the things even beyond sleep.

  • Mini-Fading Plan with Consultation Call

    Sometimes I just know you don't need me every day.... but I do know you could use a few solid changes to either get you on track or back on track with good sleep hygiene, tightening up your routine (or getting one started), and education on their developmental sleep needs and age-appropriate teaching techniques to set them up for success.

    Family-Centered Sleep Coaching for Ongoing Support

    Is your family in need of a clear and concise sleep plan with daily check-ins? Every child and family is unique, and we understand that. Whether you're a first-time parent or a seasoned veteran, we offer personalized coaching to help you get the rest you need.

    Here's how it works:

    • Fill out the questionnaire to help us better understand your family dynamic. We will work together for two weeks, with the option to add an extra week for an additional fee.

    • Based on your answers, we will provide you with a tailored sleep coaching program plan that suits your parenting goals.

    • We'll schedule a 45-60 minute zoom call to discuss the plan and answer any questions you may have. We'll also provide you with a custom Trello board to track your progress, with resources like articles, videos, and your plan. You'll have space to log your daily progress, and we'll be available to support you through the harder days.

    • We'll check in daily and answer your texts throughout the day. If needed, we can schedule a 15-minute check-in call mid-contract for clarity.

    • At the end of the two/three weeks, we'll send you an off-boarding email with a detailed plan to move forward.

    An affordable way to get sleep education, support, and your questions answered. You will receive my entire holistic sleep curriculum and plans and every week, you can hop on a live Zoom with me to get your questions answered and share your wins and struggles!

    You are not alone! Be in a group of like-minded parents who want to protect their child’s attachment to them but desperately need some sleep. Having support around this process along with growing your toolbox of grounding techniques, nervous system regulation tools, and shifting mindsets around normal biological sleep.

    Here’s what it looks like:

    • After you sign up, you’ll be enrolled in my Holistic Sleep Program with a step-by-step guide to tighten up or shift your routine, learn your child’s sometimes hidden cues, and learn behavioral fading techniques to shift their sleep associations. FAQs

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM YOU WHILE WORKING WITH YOU AS MY SLEEP COACH?

During our two-week collaboration, you can expect me to serve as your personal sleep educator, coach, and resource for referrals if necessary. We'll have one scheduled call and daily text check-ins to review how the nights have gone. To tailor our approach to your family's needs, I'll create a custom plan based on an in-depth questionnaire that delves into your routines, habits, and more. I'll present you with options to choose from so that you feel comfortable with the plan.

Additionally, I offer a one-time "ask me anything" call to address specific issues that may arise, such as adjusting to a new sibling, dealing with teething, transitioning from breastfeeding, or navigating potty training. This call provides an opportunity for fine-tuning our approach to meet your evolving needs.

HOw can you help me virtually?

You don't have to invite me into your home for me to assist you in teaching your child to sleep independently, as I won't be the one putting them to bed every night. This process requires consistent effort from you, your partner, and your child. I'll provide you with a detailed plan tailored to your family, along with ongoing support throughout our partnership. If a particular approach isn't effective, we'll adjust, adapt, and try something else. If you're uncomfortable with any aspect of the plan, we won't proceed with it. It's as simple as that. My approach is centered around your family's needs, and I'm dedicated to helping you all achieve the sleep you require.

WILL MY BABY CRY?

In short, yes. Crying is their primary means of communication, especially when they're separated from loved ones for extended periods, particularly at night. It's also a challenge to gently alter habits they've grown accustomed to. So, expect some tears, but know that you're actively engaged in the process. Personally, I don't advocate for the extinction method.

Even the most gentle parent-present approaches may elicit tears, as it's how babies express their emotions. All my tried-and-tested plans involve parents being present, with fading techniques to minimize tears. However, whenever we're altering behavior or teaching new habits to babies, they may resist and shed tears in response to change. Similar to any teaching moment with children, you'll be there every step of the way. Some babies may require a bit of space, while others thrive with parents nearby. Together, we'll determine what approach suits both your child's temperament and developmental stage.
